Enveloped daily by the cool breezes that serpentine their way through the Foss Valley, the fruit possesses an underbelly of cool minerals and river rock that has become a signature calling card of this wine every vintage. Spiced Bing cherries, cinnamon, rhubarb cobbler, cola, and wet slate lead into a sumptuous palate full of crunchy red and black fruits, dried florals, crushed gravel, and warm earth that rounds out the smooth and sensual finish. Intoxicating notes of baking spice and savory red plums add depth and a subtle refinement that highlights the 2022 vintage, all while paying respect to the wine’s old-world personality with the legacy of its Napa roots.
