2021 Pinot Noir
Grown in a prehistoric riverbed that sits on the top of Atlas Peak, this Dijon 115 clone channels the dense and raw power of the mountain with the elegance and purity of this marvelous fruit. Dark black cherries, red plums, cola, incense, wet earth, and violets meld effortlessly into a lush palate full of ripe cherries, freshly picked plums, wet slate, and exotic spices. The mid-palate is rich and round, with layers of wild black raspberries and spiced Bing cherries that continue to evolve and expand with time in the glass, playing perfectly against a backdrop of crushed gravel, dried flowers, and hints of cherry cream. Combining a focused concentration and supreme elegance, this wine highlights the spectacular 2021 vintage while paying homage to Napa’s Pinot Noir pedigree.
