A right-bank Bordeaux inspired blend grown on the rolling hills of our Coombsville estate. Heavy notes of black cherries, creme de cassis, espresso, Mission figs, boysenberry pie, wildflowers, and tobacco evolve effortlessly with time in the glass, while a succulent and rich palate of dark red and black berries, crushed stones, and savory spices provide layered depth of fruit with exceptional concentration. The tension-filled finish is long and powerful, framed by lovely acidity and mineral-driven tannins that highlight the cool climate identity of this appellation. Though each variety can easily stand on its own, this wine is a wonderful example of a blend that epitomizes how the whole can be greater than the sum of its parts.
